Worship

Upon entering our building (in-person or virtually), you will receive a warm greeting. Our beautiful sanctuary is filled with smiles and laughter…..and the occasional tears. Music is important to us, and we have an enthusiastic choir that leads the congregation in singing both new and old favourite hymns. There are activities for children, but we welcome and are comfortable with their presence during services.

Special events, such as our Holy Humor service which features congregational clowns and lots of joking around, and our Blessing of the Animal service with its menagerie of special guests, are held throughout the year. Christmas, Easter and other significant dates in the Christian calendar are marked with a variety of services and events including our choir Cantatas which are a real highlight. On the Sundays we celebrate Communion, all are welcome to participate; gluten free bread and grape juice are used.

The worship service are usually less than 1 hour at which time everyone will leave the building.  After worship, everyone will make their way down the hall to our bright and spacious multi-purpose room, Harmony Hall where we enjoy refreshments and friendly conversation.

The building is air conditioned, and has a curb-free parking lot, and an accessible entrance at the side door. Our Order of Service, including prayers and hymns, is displayed on a state-of-the-art large screen behind the pulpit.  For those who like to read music and follow along with scriptures, our hymn books and pew bibles are always available.  We also have hearing assist devices available.
